Well, didnt find any thread like this one yet Just found it on EvThread and I think here should be too!

Well, Ev was the first female fronted band I've listened so it's really special for me!

All actual bands I know and I like are so because of Ev ( after female metal bands, I started to listening some new bands and musical styles: Anathema and all bands like that )

Ev kind of got me into Korn - I mean I had heard their stuff before but I thought if Amy likes them so much I'll listen a lot more. But thats it really most of the other bands I like I learned about elsewhere

Ev was also the first femme band for me, after them I listeed to Nightwish and After Forever, not much more

Even though I never really got into Ev the first time I heard them, I would say that my gradual discovery of Ev transitioned into most femme metal bands. Basically Evanescence made me love female singers even more, so I can trace basically all the bands I listen to right now back to Ev.

I really generally can`t stand male fronted bands..i really preffer the ones with womans.i don`t say that because i`m a girl...

^ well I dunno why exactly but there's something really different between the two! men sometime got have that amazing tough voice you know what I mean? and it can pretty much be used with screamo!! and rocker guys are HWAT! and trust me they draw you to their music!!

but probably I like male fronted band because I'm a girl!
