A little (or big) something I wrote today.

Hear my crying as I sew together my heart. A final time it's broken apart So I thought, I thought it was hard With this ammetur mending I cannot go far. Cold water sprays over me As I cry beneath the pouring rain Begging it to wash away All this suffocating pain Slash my wrists Smear my blood I scream and cry I've had enough Curled alone I hate the world I'm just a sad, broken girl I fake a smile so they wont worry Inside I scream that I'll never be sorry Pretend I'm happy while I hate my life I cry and burn and bleed inside My tainted memories, bitter with regret Oh, I wish I could forget Days melt away Two years pass My pathetic existence Is going fast. *~*~*~*~*~* Two years later A different person smiles back When I stare in the reflection I see more than a disguise of black Happiness turns my lips A smile at your fingertips A laugh bubbles at my throat Thankful I never let go I was broken into pieces Shattered beyond any humans repair But an Angel found me And took me into her care There she mended all my hurt Patched up all my wounds Gently she wiped my tears And I knew I'd be okay soon At night she cradled me against her And sleep came to me with ease I'd wake with a smile on my face After dreaming the sweetest of dreams I'd thought I was beyond saving No one could fix what I'd done No needle could sew together my heart But I just hadn't found the one My bitter memories were pushed away So I could reflect on them in a later day My regret was replaced with a lesson learned And beside her I was sheilded from hurt A happy ending in this darkened world It found me as a broken girl I was patched up and mended and I'll never be the same I came out the winner in life's cruel game I'll never turn back I'll never return My life is so sweet In the shadow beside her.
