The "You" Situation

I guess would go here, since we're not technically talking about the sing's music...

We all know that we're not supposed to listen to it, because it's a very personal and emotional song for Amy.
But my questions are...

Do you listen to it?
Do you feel bad?
Do you think it really matters?
If Ben and Amy didn't want it to be heard why did they record it?

My answers...

I do listen to it, it has some of Amy's best vocal work and it's beautiful. I don't feel bad about it. I seriously Amy cares anymore about it, seeing as she's now happyily married. As for the last one I don't know.

I have listened to "You", twice I think........well one and a half I turned it off half way through the second time I did feel bad, I have to admit. You're probably right I doubt she cares anymore but I'd still prefer her to come out and say that its cool to listen to it. If she does I'll probably listen to it loads!

I have the song, it was on a CD of older Evanescence songs that my friend gave to me a couple of years ago. I listened to it once or twice, but once I heard about the fact that Amy didn't want people to listen to it or have it spread around the internet, I stopped listening to it.

Do you listen to it? Yes. Only once, though. Because right after I heard it, I went to Evboard.com and found out that you weren't supposed to hear it.
Do you feel bad? Yes, I did.
Do you think it really matters? Yes, because you have to respect her wishes to her fans.

Yes, I bought a bootleg CD [Not For Your Ears] in 2003 and it was included on the disc, at that time I didn't know EvBoard [or anything similar] existed and the only site I visited that was Evanescence related was evanescence.com, so I didn't realise it wasn't meant for people to listen to.

Do you feel bad?
Honestly, no, because I don't think the song probabaly matters to Amy anymore, the song existed long before Josh and Amy started dating. I strongly think it may have been written by Amy for Ben or about Ben, because in "The Document" biography DVD amy's father during his interview for the biography confirmed that they had dated.

Do you think it really matters?
I think it matters, I wouldn't go encouraging others to find it and listen to it, but sometimes, when I'm having a bad day, it really does make me feel better.
