The first song I heard was My Immortal.
I was at home and saw the songvideo on TV.
Then I thought: WOW, she has a beautiful voice!
I want to sing as good as her. Then I started at a singschool,
and bought two cd's evanescence had made.
That was how I got an Ev fan

Going Under. I was a freshman in high school at the time and a fellow drama student had told me to check out Ev. I bought the CD (at a Best Buy, yeah, I still remember) and brought it home and played it. Fallen was actually one of the only albums that I liked instantly, and liked every song on the album. Heh - my dad heard Haunted as I was blaring it, and he stuck his head in my room to yell: "What the blazing hellfire is that?"

Thus proving that parents can be very dense at times - at least when it comes to great music.

Probably My Immortal or BMTL on the radio

I heard BMTL in 2003, in a radio called "Cidade" which means city in Portuguese. It was night, I remember lol
I really liked the song. After that, my cousin showed me GU and I fell in love by Ev

The first Evanescence song i heard was as many others on here...'Bring Me To Life'. It was on MTV and i thought that girl can sing a bit and i liked the music too. I waited till the end of the video to find out who it was and found it was Evanescence. I checked out some more of their material and bought the album 'Fallen'...i was hooked and have been a fan ever since \m/

The first song I ever heard was My Immortal, I heard it from my sister's radio and I asked her to borrow me that CD (I bought Fallen album to her for her birthday and I didn't know Ev actually yet ) and she did, so I listened to other songs too and I was suprised, first I loved Bring Me To Life, Imaginary and Going Under, than I fell in love with others, now I'm in love with Evanescence.

I've only seen a few other people say this, or maybe I'm just blind, but my first song was My Immortal. I heard it on the radio while I was in the car, and I leaped forward and turned it up.
When I heard Bring Me To Life a few days later, it took me a moment to get that they were the same band. At the time, I didn't even know their name. I was always listening to the radio and hoping that the announcer would tell me who the band was, and then once they said, "Ah, the beautiful sound of Evanescence's voice."
Yup. I thought their lead singer was Evanescence for two years. Then one of my friends told me Amy's real name... Anyways, later on I heard Everybody's Fool and I was completely captured.

First i heard Going Under and i fell in love in it.... when i saw video i was 13 old and i was thinking this is the best video ever

I think it was My Immortal on the radio but I didn't really think much about it at the time c I wasn't the huge ev fan i am today back then.

I believe the first Evanescence song I heard was Bring Me To Life. After I heard it I just fell in love with it. Then I checked out their other songs and loved those too! >D

I saw the video Bring Me To Life and was like cowool words and video. I liked the sound, of course like most of you it was Amy that attracted me. Me and my friend from middle scool used to sing it in class being disruptive and cute.

It was Going Under..... i saw it in the TV and i fell in love with the video and song was something new for me.... i used to start sing everytime i heard it even though i dont have voice than Everybodys Fool ofter that i bought my first and still favourite CD Anywhere But Home ^^ i love it most of all

shortely after that i`ve heared Everybidy`s Fool and My Immortal(which is still my favorite song!)

But my friend had all the songs on her laptop and one day I asked her to show me the new music she had on there so she played BMTL and I loved Amy's voice! So I looked them up on YouTube and I got in their music more and more!

I automatically loved the song and got hooked with evanescence's songs...

I'm also into linkin park songs so I instantly loved Evanescence' songs.
