I have this song, called "Cold Day in December", and I thought it was an Ev cover. So far so good, but I went to search on the band, which is "Plainsong" and I found out that it was Lori Lee's band!
I heard the song and I thought it was Amy LOL

They asked the fans to vote for a new band name on the Internet. Solstice was the chosen name. The others were: Fiero, Equinox, Watership Down and Clockwork.

Dylan and I are excited to announce that we will be working on a new project! And this time, for a FILM!

months ago, the writer and director of "Skeletons in the Closet" (an
independent psychological thriller) approached Dylan and I about
working on the score for the film!


It is our
pleasure to announce that we accepted and are working on the music at
this very moment. Yes, creepy, scary music. Bwahahahaha!


Other

find out other exciting news about our debut in this film! We will keep

Skeletons in the Closet: A Word from Chloe Finch






Skeletons
in the Closet is a physiological thriller about a female psychic
working with the NYPD on a serial murder case. She flees to a small New
England town after a horrifying life changing event happens .
Terrifying events and apparitions lead her to believe that the serial
killer has followed her there and she could be his next victim...
Skeletons in the Closet will be shooting early next year, 2010. The
screenplay was written by screenplay writer and director, Chloe Finch.
Ricardo (R.E Prado) the CEO of Red Skull Productions read the script
and took it on board for his production company to do as a feature
film. Chloe Finch who was in talks with singer/composer Lori Lee, asked
Lori if she would allow them to use some of her bands song's (at this
time going under the band name Solstice) when they would add music
during post-production. Red Skull productions are happy to announce
that this unfolded into her and music partner/boyfriend Dylan Bulloch
doing all the composing for Skeletons in the Closet and in addition to
the songs. Lori Lee will also be appearing as one of the supporting
lead actresses in the film and so will Dylan Bulloch appear in the film
playing her on screen boyfriend. We are also happy to have on board
Costume Designer Penny Jane Mackie, who was the Costumer, to name just
a few on such films as Narnia, the Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe,
Narnia: Prince Caspian, Moulin Rouge, The Matrix movie series, Star
Wars: Revenge of the Sith, Superman Returns and the current cinema
released horror cult film , Brain Dead directed by film horror icon
Kevin Tenny. At this time we can not announce "talent" for Skeletons in
the Closet. But, the production will give out any and all updates

Never heard of them, I'll check them out. Music and movies sound about good, she started early earlier then Amy (age wise not year) young talented family.

Thanks for posting about Lori Lee composing for that film!! I haven't been back to the Solstice site for a few weeks and now i am kicking myself. What a surprise

Not only is she doing the music, but she is also in the film from what i read. I hope they do Cold Day in December in the film and i can not wait to see Lori Lee in the film. I am very happy for her, these sisters are so talented. They said more surprises to come, this is so exciting. Between Amy and Lori's surprises, this is too exciting.
